Each event showcases performances by local school jazz ensembles and nationally recognized guest artists, culminating in an interactive workshop that deepens understanding of jazz through live demonstration and dialogue.
The series connects students, educators, and audiences in a shared experience of creativity and learning — strengthening jazz education and building community through the power of live music.

How Does It Work?
Opening Band
Schools from the surrounding area are invited to bring their middle or high school jazz band to perform to open the workshop. If you are a school director simply send us an email to apply below.
Workshop Guest Performance
Regional and National Jazz artist and Educators perform and speak about their affinity for Jazz.
Workshop Session
The workshop is open to grade school and collegiate performers who'd like to learn and explore concepts in Jazz music. Led by the resident teaching artist, young musicians are given sound advice to advance their interest in Jazz music.
